The linguistic department deals with translation, reporting, transcription and conducting analysis. Special agents on the other hand are tasked with protecting and defending the US against terrorism and foreign intelligence threats and uphold and enforce criminal laws. Hostage rescue teams are known to offer tactical options for any crisis that needs intervention. All these work together in realization of their mission.

Different crimes committed affect nations in diverse locations around the world. These have negative implications on both developed and developing countries. Most resources that ought to be used for developmental tasks are wasted trying to deal with the crime and the issue of insecurity is a nightmare. These express the need and concern for unity among different countries globally in solving the issues of crime and insecurity.

Different obstacles have led to the different crimes of terrorism succeeding but measures have been put in place by the FBI to counteract these vices. The major problems arise as a result of misuse of power by leaders who pretend to focus on security matters yet in real sense they are involved in terrorism and criminal activities.
